Google Chrome DOES have Firefox-style Live Bookmarks.

They are part of the RSS Live Links extension and they work on Windows official and Linux beta (at least). You can find the announcement/help/release-notes published here and install it from the Google Chrome extension gallery.
Go ahead - make my day - USE IT, spread the word - MAKE ME PROUD!!! (And report any deficiencies you find, bearing in mind that we are working on restyling to make it look more professional. We wanna make this an awesome extension!).
